How it is measured
Families of test programs of growing size are run on many processors; Proctor et al. (2022) tested twelve and found that structured programs fail up to an order of magnitude earlier than disordered ones.
Limitations and criticisms
- A research method; results depend on the program families chosen.
Used in European procurements
None of the procurement documents read for this release names it.
