Quantum technology in plain language. Follow the beginner path from the basics to funding, or jump to any topic. Each topic has a short animation, a clear explanation, one small experiment you can try and links to projects, documents and news on this site.

1. Step 1What are quantum technologies? The big picture: the four pillars and why they matter for Europe.
2. Step 2Quantum physics basicsSuperposition, measurement and interference without the maths.
3. Step 3Bits and qubitsWhy a qubit can be more than a 0 or a 1.
4. Step 4EntanglementTwo particles, one shared state.
5. Step 5Quantum computingCircuits of qubits that solve problems differently.
6. Step 6Quantum communicationKeys that reveal when someone is listening.
7. Step 7Quantum sensingMeasuring time, fields and motion with quantum precision.
8. Step 8Quantum simulation (part of computing and simulation)Using one quantum system to understand another.
9. Step 9Enabling technologies and supply chainThe lasers, fridges, electronics and chips every quantum device needs.
10. Step 10From lab to marketTechnology readiness levels, from idea to product.
11. Step 11Quantum research funding in EuropeHow EU funding for quantum projects has developed.
