Create your account. We send a link to your e-mail address; the account is active once you confirm it, and you then choose your password. Access for Commission and Member State staff is approved separately by an authoriser.

How will you use the portal?

Member: read and save public information, follow topics and countries

Company or organisation member: also work on behalf of your organisation

European Commission staff: also use the restricted policy tools (needs an authoriser)

Member State representative: also use the restricted policy tools (needs an authoriser)

Your organisation

Start typing its name and choose it from the list. If your e-mail address is at the website domain of the organisation, your account is linked to it once you confirm the address; otherwise an editor checks the link.

Member State you represent

Commission staff register with their Commission e-mail address (ending in europa.eu). Commission and Member State access is never given automatically: an authoriser decides and you receive an e-mail.

What we store: your username, your e-mail address, the option you choose (and the organisation or Member State you name), and a hash of the confirmation link. Why: to confirm the address, set up the account and let an editor or authoriser check access you ask for. How long: an unconfirmed request is deleted after 7 days; the account and its data are kept until you or an administrator delete it. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time.Privacy notice
