Project funded by Novo Nordisk Foundation (Projects), grant NNF24OC0095446. Participating organisations named by the source: KU University of Copenhagen. Runs n/a to 2028-06-30. Keywords: Applied Mathematics. Source: OpenAIRE Graph, from the funder's project data (collected by OpenAIRE on 2026-06-29); national funding data, not CORDIS. Abstract given by the source: Entanglement is a fundamental part of quantum mechanics that distinguishes the quantum world from the classical one. Entanglement is also the driving engine in Quantum Information Theory, and the use of entangled states is what distinguishes a quantum computer from a classical one. Entanglement has beautiful mathematical descriptions involving geometry, analysis and combinatorics in terms of cones (or convex sets) in certain tensor products. These mathematical descriptions, while beautiful, are also enigmatic, as several important questions regarding these cones remain open. In this proposal we will highlight some of these questions and propose to solve them using methods from infinite dimensional analysis (operator algebras, functional analysis, convexity theory)._x000D_
