Project funded by Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ) (Research Projects), grant IP-2018-01-8912. Participating organisations named by the source: Prirodoslovno-matematički fakultet, Zagreb; Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek; Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Department of Physics. Funded amount: EUR 132,723, as stated by the source. Runs 2018-10-01 to 2022-09-30. Keywords: Superconductivity, massless and correlated fermions, topological insulators, Dirac semimetals, Weyl semimetals. Source: OpenAIRE Graph, from the funder's project data (collected by OpenAIRE on 2026-07-23); national funding data, not CORDIS. Abstract given by the source: In this project we want to apply our expertise in trends in physical condensed materials that connect basic research with modern technological development. Therefore, we selected topics dealing with electrical transport, magnetic, thermoelectric as well as structural and thermodynamic properties of topological insulators (TI), Dirac and Weyl semimetals and superconductors (high temperature cuprate superconductors (HTSC) and conventional disordered superconductors). The proposed project offers comprehensive research from sample synthesis to interpretations of experimental research results. The aim is to study how different parameters of synthesis of these materials relate to their nanostructural details and electronic correlations, as well as to their ultimate macroscopic (electrical, magnetic, thermodynamic) properties.
