Project funded by Novo Nordisk Foundation (Projects), grant NNF24OC0090447. Participating organisations named by the source: KU University of Copenhagen. Runs n/a to 2028-12-31. Source: OpenAIRE Graph, from the funder's project data (collected by OpenAIRE on 2026-06-29); national funding data, not CORDIS. Abstract given by the source: In simple words, my current research focuses on how to easily write parallel programs that run fast on modern highly-parallel hardware, such as graphics processing units (GPU). During my sabbatical, I plan to collaborate with famous researchers from three prestigious research institutions, as follows: At University of Utah, I will study with Professors Mary Hall and P. Sadayappan how to best accelerate computations involving high-dimensional tensors, with application in quantum chemistry and quantum computing._x000D_ At University of Waterloo, I will study with Professors Mark Giesbrecht and Stephen Watt topics related to high-performance implementation of fundamental computer-algebra algorithms._x000D_ At University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, I will study with Professors Lawrence Rauchwerger and Nancy Amoto the design of an unconventional biotechnology computer, named "Mind In Vitro", which uses living neurons as base-computational units._x000D_
