Project funded by Swedish Research Council (Project grant), grant 2013-00078_VR. Participating organisations named by the source: University of Gothenburg. Funded amount: SEK 100,000, as stated by the source. Runs 2013-01-01 to 2013-12-31. Keywords: Naturvetenskap, Natural Sciences, Matematik, Mathematics, Algebra och logik, Algebra and Logic. Source: OpenAIRE Graph, from the funder's project data (collected by OpenAIRE on 2025-12-05); national funding data, not CORDIS. Abstract given by the source: We are planning to organize a special session "Quantum Bits and Entanglement at Microwave Frequencies" at the PIERS Symposium "Progress In Electromagnetics Research" i Stockholm, 12-15 august 2013. Progress in Electromagnetics Research Symposium (PIERS) provides an international forum for reporting progress and recent advances in the modern development of electromagnetic theory and its new and exciting applications. Topics include radiation, propagation, diffraction, scattering, guidance, resonance, power, energy and force issues, and all other modern developments, with spectra ranging from statics to RF, microwave, photonics, and beyond. Our session is going to promote a rapidly developing interdisciplinary research in the fields of quantum information, quantum integrable models and microwave quantum optics, see http://piers.org/piers2013Stockholm/session.php?session_id=S006
