Operation co-funded by EU cohesion policy (European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)) under the programme Competitiveness and sustainable development - CY - ERDF/CF (2014CY16M1OP001), managing authority: Γενική Διεύθυνση Ευρωπαϊκών Προγραμμάτων, Συντονισμού και Ανάπτυξης. Beneficiary: Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου. Location: Cyprus. Budget: total eligible expenditure EUR 249,476.01; EU co-financing EUR 212,054.61 (co-financing rate 85%), as stated by the source. Runs 2019-01-22 to 2021-10-30. Source: Kohesio, EU cohesion policy projects managed by national and regional authorities (not CORDIS). Summary from Kohesio (English machine translation by the source): The project focuses on the area of Strong Interaction Physics, which govern the forces within the nuclei. In order to explore a wide range of important open questions, we will strengthen our cooperation with international research teams and recruit two postdoctoral researchers, thus enhancing the international role of our research team as a Center of Excellence in this area of Physics. We will study in detail properties of adronic states deriving from the theory of Powerful Interactions: Quantum chromodynamics (CFI). Methods of quantum field theory will be used to study a number of observable sizes, which are determined by numerical peak simulations in a space-time lattice. Linking simulation numerals to experimentally measurable quantities requires careful calculation of the renormalisation functions (EC). Our calculations for EC functions use a wide variety of improved CFI discrepancies and will therefore find direct applications in the research of other international groups. The first main objective of the project is the calculation of EC non-local operators which are widely used to study the distribution of angular momentum, ellicity and momentum within the hadrons. Another part of the project concerns the hypersymmetric extension of the CFC, as a model for new physics beyond the Standard Standard. Open questions in this direction are the phase changes in symmetry violation, the mixture of fields and complex operators and the spectrum of binding states. Another subject of study is the beta function of the CSF in 3 loops, for a number of improved actions. In addition, we aim to create a software that integrates our techniques for automatically computing Feynman diagrams in the grid. Finally, we will continue our long-term research of quantum field theories on the brink of phase changes, with emphasis on the absence of heat.
