Method as stated: Providers named in the booklet (reference Communication 4), several of them partners of the OpenQKD project.

On pace only if growth compounds: recent pace 2021-2024: (10 - 5) / 3 = 1.7 a year; needed pace to 2030: (30 - 10) / 6 = 3.3 a year; compound growth: recent +26.0%, needed +20.1% a year. Portal calculation, not the SAB assessment.
At the recent linear pace the value would be about 20 in 2030.

Use cases of the adoption directory classified as quantum communication, counted cumulatively by the year of their source. Post-quantum cryptography cases are classical security and are not counted.
