What the portal offers
For: Everyone
Most of the portal is public and needs no account. The menus at the top group it into eight areas; All tools lists every page with one line on what it is for.
Explore research, organisations and infrastructure
- Open Explore in the top menu, or one of the links below.
- Use the filters on the left of each list to narrow by country, technology or programme.
- Open a record to see its source; the source stays authoritative, and every record links to it.
Tools for this task:
Follow technologies, data and policy
- Technologies explains the four pillars and who works on each.
- Data & Insights holds the dashboard, country comparisons and indicators, with their methods.
- Library holds documents, EU law, the strategy tracker and post-quantum cryptography guidance.
Tools for this task:
Find funding, partners, jobs and events
- Opportunities lists open calls, upcoming deadlines and public tenders; signed-in members also have the funding finder.
- News and Events list what happened and what is coming; each event can be added to your calendar.
Tools for this task:
Find a page, learn the basics or tell us what is missing
- Search finds pages, records, glossary terms and documents.
- Learn explains quantum technologies in plain language.
- Suggest an addition when a record is missing or wrong; no account is needed.
Tools for this task:
Signing in and getting an account
For: Public visitors
An account is free. It adds saved searches, alerts, your interests and full catalogue details. Accounts for organisations, national contributors, Member State and Commission staff are approved by the platform team.
Request an account
- Open Join Quantum Europe and fill in the form; say which organisation you work for and why you need access.
- The platform team checks the request before the account is activated; a request alone does not prove who you are, so the team may contact you.
- Accounts with more access (organisation, national, Member State, Commission) are given only to people nominated for them.
