Infrastructure access assistant

Tell the assistant what you need, who you are and why. It lists the European facilities in the portal’s infrastructure catalogue that fit, with the access route and how to apply, the access calls and their dates, who may apply and the cost where the official pages publish them, and the operational and access status from the deployment tracker. Every fact links to its source.

A referral aid, not a booking service: nothing here is confirmed by the operators, and calls open and close. Check the official page before applying.

Method, sources and limits
  • Built only from data the portal already holds: the infrastructure catalogue (compiled 2026-10-27), the access guide (official pages read on or before 2026-10-26), the access programmes of the infrastructure use page (checked 2026-10-25) and the deployment tracker (checked 2026-10-28). The assistant adds no capability, price or date of its own; each fact on a card cites the page it comes from.
  • A facility fits when its catalogue type, area or description matches the need (rules below) and, for computer time or simulators with a modality chosen, its catalogue technologies include that modality. It is listed when an access route of the guide that opens it fits your kind of organisation and country (the rule of the access guide), or when the guide records no route for it and it is in your country or EU-wide. Facilities whose project period has ended are listed apart.
  • When nothing fits, the assistant drops your country, then your kind of organisation, then the modality, then tries related needs, and shows the first that gives a result, saying what was dropped.
  • The purpose only orders the list and, for education, adds the training routes; it never hides a facility.

How each need is matched

  • A cryogenic or photonic test facility: Testbed or Testbed network or Evaluation facility, description naming “cryostat” or “cryogenic” or “photonic”.
  • A quantum communication testbed: Testbed or Testbed network or Evaluation facility, communication area; access routes for test qkd or euroqci equipment.
  • A post-quantum cryptography (PQC) test lab: Testbed or Testbed network or Evaluation facility, description naming “post-quantum” or “PQC”.
