Usage statistics without cookies
Quantum Europe counts page views to learn which pages and tools are used, so that they can be improved. It does this without cookies and without recording who you are.
What is counted
- The page viewed, without search terms or other details of the address; numbers in addresses are grouped.
- Whether you came from this site, a search engine, another website or directly (never the address you came from).
- Whether the screen is a phone, tablet or desktop size.
- Whether the visitor is signed in and the kind of account (for example Commission staff), never the account itself.
What is never recorded
- No cookies and no identifier of your browser or device.
- No IP address, user name, e-mail address or account number.
- No individual visit: only daily totals per page are kept, for 13 months.
Not being counted
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is sent at all.
Your visits are counted as described above. Turn on JavaScript to change this for this browser.
