Connections across sources

  • 1 open tender, call or job names a buyer or employer that has a page on this portal.

Counted from automatic links between published records, found by matching names; a link can be wrong.

Release notes

The main features added to the portal, by the date they were completed. Some are for signed-in members or policy users only.

: Expert directory, a richer map and fresher preprints

  • Expert and contact directory Search researchers, principal investigators and official contacts in quantum technology with a European affiliation by topic, country, organisation and role. Each fact shows its source and date.
  • Map views you can share The country map can be shaded by projects, participations, organisations, EU contribution received or infrastructure, optionally per inhabitant, and filtered by technology area, start years and programme. Every view is a link.
  • Preprint radar read every day New arXiv preprints are read daily, the radar shows the last 30 days by default and it says when arXiv was last read.
  • Easier to use with a keyboard, touch or high contrast Links in the header, footer and pager are at least 44 pixels tall, and focus stays visible in Windows high contrast mode.
  • Personal data masked in questions The question assistant masks personal data such as e-mail addresses and phone numbers before a question is processed.

: Every area of the portal reviewed

  • Projects and organisations Project and organisation listings keep a stable order between pages, filter by the four technology pillars and export the filtered list as CSV. Projects can be filtered by funder.
  • News by publication date News is sorted by the publisher’s date, and a story reported by several sources is shown once with “Also reported by”.
  • Calls and deadlines Open EuroHPC platform calls reach the deadlines page, the calendar feeds and the alerts, and calls and tenders are tagged with the four technology pillars.
  • Policy and post-quantum timelines The policy timeline and the post-quantum timeline gain the 2025 and 2026 milestones.
  • Legal pages Privacy and cookies, legal notice, terms of use and accessibility statement are published and linked from the footer.

: Suppliers, open data and access to infrastructure

  • Supplier directory European organisations with public evidence that they can supply a capability, such as dilution refrigerators, lasers or single-photon detectors, with a curated list of enabling-technology suppliers.
  • Open data hub Every public dataset of the portal by theme, with its downloads, formats, licence, sources and update frequency.
  • Infrastructure access guide Answers “how do I get access?” from who you are and what you want to do: run on a quantum computer, use a testbed or pilot line, test QKD equipment or train staff.
  • Ownership changes in European quantum Completed acquisitions and majority-stake purchases involving quantum-technology companies since 2018, each with its source.
  • Four technology pillars Technologies follow the four pillars of the draft SRIA 2026: computing and simulation, communication, sensing and metrology, and enabling technologies and supply chain.
  • Saved briefings for policy users Commission and Member State users can save a policy briefing and see what has changed since they saved it.

: Pipelines, trackers and your suggestions

  • EU programme pipeline Forthcoming and open quantum topics of Horizon Europe, the EuroHPC and Chips joint undertakings and Digital Europe for the next 24 months, with stated budgets and CSV, JSON and calendar downloads.
  • Standards and post-quantum deadlines Standards milestones and post-quantum cryptography deadlines, with a “what is due when” view and a calendar feed.
  • EU legislation and consultations Open consultations with their deadlines, the stage of each legislative file and its expected next steps.
  • Quantum in my country Plain-language country pages on quantum activity, and calendar feeds of deadlines and events.
  • Europe in quantum indicators The EU share of the world’s quantum publications per technology pillar and of patent families, with the method.
  • Research output by country Quantum publications per country and year, and patent families by applicant country.
  • Preprint radar New arXiv quantum preprints with at least one European organisation listed on the portal, grouped by technology family.
  • Instrument navigator Ten questions that rank EU instruments with the reasons, the legal basis, the body to contact and the next steps.
  • Talent pipeline and infrastructure use Quantum courses and research grants by country, and the status, access model and access calls of European quantum computers, platforms and testbeds.
  • Lab-to-market bridge European quantum companies linked from their EU-funded projects to EIC Fund investments and announced private funding rounds.
  • Suggest an addition or correction Tell us what is missing or wrong. Each suggestion is checked against the official page it names, and you can follow its status with a reference.
  • Alerts in My Quantum Europe Signed-in members see new calls, events, preprints, courses, tenders and policy changes that match the technologies and countries they follow.
